Annular Solar Eclipse Observation Camp



Sri Lanka Planetarium organized two Solar Eclipse observation camps to observe the 2019 Dec 26 Annular solar eclipse, camp was held in the Sri Lanka Planetarium premise where, only the partial solar eclipse was visible. The second camp was organized at the Mullaitivu Beach, where the annular eclipse was visible.

The event was organized by the Sri Lanka Planetarium with the support of the Sri Lanka Army, 59 Division, Security Force Headquarters – Mullaitivu, Astronomers Without Borders, and Nagoya Planetarium. The event was broadcasted live.
