Sri Lanka Planetarium has organized an Astronomy quiz competition among schools in the Colombo district to celebrate National Science Day on 10th November 2022. A school can present a team of 05 students for this competition. The tournament will be held in all three mediums of Sinhala, Tamil and English and contestants can provide answers in any medium of their choice. Winners will be selected under 4 categories related to school classification 1AB, 1C, 2 and International.

This tournament consists of three rounds and the first round is held online. In the first round, the 10 schools with the highest scores in each category will qualify for the second round and the 05 schools with the highest scores will qualify for the final round.

A digital certificate will be awarded to all students who participate in the online competition. A printed certificate will be awarded to those who participate in the second and final rounds, which will be held at the Sri Lanka Planetarium.
